farah hazim is a french-lebanese intermedia artist investigating experimental and improvised forms of sound art.
exploring alternative inquiries into hearing, listening and experiencing with a particular interest in multi-channel environements and their ability to create immersive & augmented experiences.


with a background in architecture & scenography her work engages in concepts of chronotopes, ecotones and natural sciences paralely to subjects linked to psychoacoustics, hauntology and sleep.
solo & collaborative projects have various formats; including sound works, installations, improvisations, radio works, minimal compositions, data visualisations/sonifications, etc.
collaborative projects teem with sound artists, cinematographers, artists, performers, vidéo artists, musicians, spoken words, dancers, actors, etc.
